You will need 60 Amps plus of 13.8 to 14.5 volts DC.

Do not use the variable resistor to control the power output but reduce drive to the amp from the radio.

Yellow “DELAY” Button reduces power and adds delay to the transmit/receive relay to accommodate different transmission rates for break-in keying operation.

On models DX 400V and DX 500V, this button adds delay but does not reduce power.
